JERRY MORAWSKI: FIRE CHIEF / FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B

Chief Jerry Morawski joined the Fire Dept. in January of 1994. He climbed the ranks over the years becoming Asst. Chief in June of 2008. He was appointed Chief by Bruce Pearson - Township Supervisor on November 23rd 2009. Chief Morawski also serves on the North Oakland Technical Rescue team and the Michigan Regional Task Force (Urban Search and Rescue).

JOHN BEACH: ASST. CHIEF / FIREFIGHTER / PARAMEDIC

Asst. Chief John Beach began serving Addison Township in July of 1999. He Became a Paramedic in 2001 and was hired as a Fulltime Firefighter Paramedic in May of 2004. He has been an officer since 2009 and was appointed to the position of Assistant Chief on November 17th, 2010.

DAVE EDWARDS: CAPTAIN 1 / FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B

Capt. Dave Edwards began serving Addison Township in September of 1995. Dave’s father was Chief of the Department and Dave joined when he was young, climbing the ranks to become a Captain today.

MICHELLE MEAD: CAPTAIN 2 / FIREFIGHTER /EMT-B

Capt. Michelle Mead began serving Addison Township in June of 1994. Michelle is a member and Department Coordinator of the North Oakland Technical Rescue Team. Capt. Mead works as a Graphic Artist outside of the Dept. When she is not working Michelle enjoys boating, fishing & hiking.

MIKE ZIELINSKI: LIEUTENANT 1 / FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B

Lt. Mike Zielinski began serving Addison Township in September of 2000. Lt. Zielinski is the department safety officer, helping to ensure that everyone goes home after a fire.

W. D. RIPPETOE: LIEUTENANT 2 / FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B

Lt. W Rippetoe began serving Addison Township in December of 2003. He serves on the North Oakland Technical rescue team, the Michigan Task Force 1. W comes to Addison Township from Rochester where he served 5 years as a firefighter there. W is a Mechanical designer outside of the Fire Dept. and enjoys playing outside with his kids when he is not saving the world.

FRED VANDERVENNET: SERGEANT 1 / FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B

Sgt. Fred Vandervennet began serving Addison Township in April of 2006. Fred is the departments go to guy when it comes to writing grants. The Fire Dept. has been awarded large amounts of money by grants that Fred has researched and written. Fred works as a Production Quality Engineer outside of the Fire Dept. When he has a chance, Fred enjoys spending time at his cabin on Torch Lake.

JOSEPH FISHER: SERGEANT 2 / FIREFIGHTER / PARAMEDIC

Sgt. Joe Fisher began serving Addison Township in July of 2004. Prior to moving to Addison Township Joe was a member of the Goodrich Fire Dept. Sergeant Fisher works as a Machinist Coordinator at Ford Motor Co. & also as a Part-time Paramedic for the Medstar Ambulance Co. Joe enjoys riding four-wheelers with his three sons in his spare time.

	KENNETH COTHAM: FIREFIGHTER / PARAMEDIC Ken Cotham began serving Addison Township in November of 2009, with over 20 years in the fire service. Andy Engle began serving Addison Township in June of 2006. Andy is currently testing for his paramedic license. He would like to get involved in the North Oakland Technical Rescue Team after obtaining his paramedic license.

BRIAN FREELS: FIREFIGHTER / PARAMEDIC

Brian joined the Addison Township Fire Dept in Nov, 2009 as the Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic. He came to Addison from the Rochester Hills Fire Dept. where he continues to serve as a paid-on-call Firefighter. Brian has been a Firefighter since 2005 and a Paramedic since 2008. When not at work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and new baby daughter at home.

	ANGELA HAINES: FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B / OFFICE MANAGER Angela Haines began serving Addison Township in July of 2006. She started as a paid-on-call firefighter EMT and was appointed Office Administrator in April 2010. JANINE HERMANN: FIREFIGHTER / PARAMEDIC

Janine Hermann "Fire Mom" began serving Addison Township in February of 1996. She is a paid on call Firefighter Paramedic who responds to many weekday calls when most of our personnel are out of the township. She also assists with much of the clerical work in the office. The Addison Township Fire Dept. wouldn’t be complete without Janine.

	CHUCK JOHNSON: FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B Chuck Johnson “Chuckles” began serving Addison Township in February of 2004. Chuck is an auto body technician in Rochester whose knowledge comes in handy at the Fire Dept. Chuck has a joke for everything. GUNNAR JOHNSON: AUXILLARY MEMBER

Gunnar Johnson the father of Chuck joined the Fire Dept. in 2005 as an Auxiliary member. He assists with any Non-Firefighting needs and is a big help around the station. Gunnar retired from Ford Motor Co. after 26 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife and grandchildren.

KYLE KLEIN: FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B

Kyle Klein “Cowboy” began serving Addison Township in April of 2008. Kyle responds to many emergencies during weekdays when our manpower is at its lowest. In his free time Kyle enjoys riding bulls in rodeos, which of course earned him the nickname cowboy. Kyle is currently testing for his paramedic License and should have it soon.

	ELMO MADDEN III: PROBATIONARY FIREFIGHTER Elmo “Ray” Madden began serving Addison Township in January of 2009. Ray works at St. Joseph Pontiac as an Emergency Room Technician. Ray needs a haircut. Licenses & Certificates Firefighter 1 & 2 Haz-Mat Ops.

	CHAD STROBEL: PROBATIONARY FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B Chad began serving Addison Township in August of 2009. Chad is currently in paramedic school and he works as a hair stylist in Lake Orion. MARILYN SZOST: FIREFIGHTER / EMT-B / EMS COORDINATOR

Marilyn began serving Addison Township in August of 1999. As EMS Coordinator, Marilyn is in charge of all medical training, CPR certifications and maintaining our Ambulance Licensure with the State of Michigan. Marilyn is also a fulltime Firefighter and paramedic. On her days off, Marilyn works at the Lapeer County Health Department as a nutrition educator.
